Monitoring the quality of preschool education: experience in the region

Anotation
Assessment of the quality of preschool education is an important tool for improving the efficiency of the educational process and improving the learning environment for preschoolers. The article gives reasons why the assessment of the quality of preschool education is important. One of them is the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational process, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and identify areas that require additional development. The main objects of monitoring the quality of preschool education are considered. Particular emphasis in the article is placed on the Regional monitoring concept for assessing the mechanisms for managing the quality of preschool education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main goal of the Regional Concept is to ensure the high quality of education in preschool institutions in the region. The regional monitoring concept for evaluating the quality management mechanisms of preschool education includes monitoring methods and tools that can be used to assess the quality of preschool education and manage it, such as questionnaires, surveys, interviews, observation, document analysis. In 2022, 701 preschool educational institutions took part in the monitoring to assess the quality management mechanisms of preschool education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The article describes the identified prosperous and problematic areas of the educational environment, and draws conclusions based on the results of the study.
