Anotation
The study emphasizes the importance of the family in the formation of the child's personality, laying down moral qualities and life principles. Transformations in Russian society over the last thirty years have changed family ideology, goals and objectives of upbringing, but the family still plays a leading role in the upbringing of a child, despite the influence of external factors such as educational institutions and peer environment. The analysis, based on research in pedagogy and psychology, examines different styles and methods of upbringing and their influence on the formation of the child's personality, and the principles of family upbringing. It is proved that the psychological health of children depends on the relationships in the family, especially on the emotional connection between parents and child, which makes family upbringing the basis for the formation of a holistic and stable personality, ready for adulthood. It has been established that the key conditions for optimal upbringing are sincere love for the child, consistency in parental behavior, unity of requirements from adults, adequacy of educational measures and absence of conflicts among adults. These factors create a warm and reliable atmosphere that provides inner peace and psychological safety of the child. It is determined that there are conditions in different types of family upbringing: equally affecting psychological safety, and conditions that are characteristic of different types of family upbringing (traditional family, single-parent family, large family, foster family).
